Live 1991-1993
Our biggest show at this point was our headlining slot and industry showcase at the world-famous Village Gate in NYC, August 18, 1992. Joining us on stage for 2 songs was the great Sarah Dash, known for her work with Labelle and the Rolling Stones. Sarah joined us for "Greener", the duet she sang on our "T & P" record, and "Lady Marmalade," our rocking version of Labelle's biggest hit.

The night was December 20, 1993, the venue was Marty's in Portchester, NY, and the singer was stuck in a snow storm in Rhode Island. But the show must go on, so Jon, Cliff and Greg took the stage with our loyal roadie Mace Sanders on lead vocals.

A year after our first show at The Village Gate, when it was announced that the venue would be closing its doors, we organized a benefit show to try to save it. On August 18, 1993, all proceeds from the door, merchandise sales and a raffle of a hand-painted Sky Blues jacket, donated by artist Brad Perrine, went to help the Village Gate. Despite our best efforts, the club did close shortly after, making us the last band to ever play this legendary venue. Photos from this big show were used in the "Extended Play" booklet.
